Call for FY20 SWE HA Executive Council Leadership Team Nominations
Consider becoming a member of the SWE HA leadership team for this upcoming year or help nominate someone. SWE HA is seeking qualified, diverse, and motivated leaders for the position of President, Secretary, Treasurer, VP Career Guidance (outreach), Internal VP, External VP, Section Representative and Chairs for the fiscal year 2020 (July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020).
Being an Officer or Chair is an excellent opportunity to serve SWE while developing leadership skills that will last you a lifetime. If this is something you like to do please consider reaching out to any of the current FY19 officers.
Nominations will be accepted from March 26 to April 30th.

Any voting SWE-HA member can nominate by sending a nominations package to: nominations@houstonswe.org
Nomination package should include the following information:
(1) Nominee's SWE membership number
(2) Officer position being sough
(3) Candidate's Biography (max 200 words)
(4) Personal statement by candidate focusing on how she will contribute to SWE in terms of skills, abilities, goals, objectives as an officer or other personal attributes (max 50 words).
(5) Resume detailing both professional and SWE activities (max 2 pages).
After the deadline, applications will be reviewed and the selected applicants will be contacted by the nominations committee.
