Tamara, as a friend, a SWE member, and an engineer, THANK YOU for all that you do for our society and I wish you the best luck as you continue your career and volunteer work! CONGRATULATIONS!
I’m excited to write and ask that you all help me congratulate Tamara Rodriguez on being the 2020 Young Engineer of the Year for the Houston Area section of SWE! Tamara was nominated for this award because of her active involvement and leadership within SWE-HA. For the past several years she has been one of the leaders for our Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day. She has chaired the planning committee and done a fantastic job creating an event that encourages girls to explore STEM. But Tamara won this award for more than just hard work. She brings a passion and joy to her volunteer work that is infections and inspires those of that have been working in engineering for years. Tamara, as a friend, a SWE member, and an engineer, THANK YOU for all that you do for our society and I wish you the best luck as you continue your career and volunteer work! CONGRATULATIONS!
